What are Personality Disorders?
A group of mental health conditions characterized by long-term patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that deviate from cultural and social expectations. These deeply ingrained patterns of being developed in childhood to meet emotional needs. However, responses that were once critical to survival as a child become inflexible and pervasive, wreaking havoc on life during adulthood.
